Another terrific release of this long-time California Chardonnay value champ. It shows the ripe fruit you'd expect from California with Santa Barbara's distinctive freshness and a very light touch with oak. It's generously scented and flavored with lime, stone fruit and buttered nut notes, delivers a big burst of nectarine and pear fruit and then finishes dry and fresh with hints to toasted hazelnut lingering nicely.
For You If: You enjoy the flavors of nicely ripe Chardonnay unadorned by signficant oak or butter notes; you're after Chardonnay that will move from cocktails to dinner table with ease - this is a delight in both locations!
Not For You If: You're after the rich pear/apple fruit of a Russian River Chardonnay or lots of caramel, vanilla, butter and oak - this goes more fresh than that.
