Our Local Delivery Policy

Delivery Area and Days

We offer local delivery service in Northern Virginia and to Washington, DC. We do not deliver or ship to Maryland.  Our Northern Virginia delivery area includes all of Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, and Fairfax City.  We cover most of Fairfax County (down to Springfield and out to Chantilly) and close-in Loudoun County.

In Northern Virginia, our standard delivery days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We do not deliver Sundays.. If you require delivery on Monday or Thursday or same-day delivery anytime, please call the shop at 703.356.6500 and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  We deliver to DC addresses by courier Monday- Friday.

Delivery Scheduling

Delivery orders are pulled and ready for delivery scheduling within one business day of receiving your order. Once ready for delivery, we will contact you/the recipient within 72 hours to set a day and time for delivery when an adult aged 21 years or order can be available to take possession.  If you have preferred windows for delivery, please let us know. But delivery schedules are not finalized until the morning of the delivery day.

Delivery Fees

Delivery to addresses in Arlington, Falls Church, Vienna, Tysons Corner, McLean and Great Falls, Virginia is free on orders of $100 or more.  Delivery fee is $35 per address to all other locations within our delivery area and on all orders of less than $100 plus $5 per case in excess of two cases.

Age Requirement

The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine or spirits. By placing an order through our website, you are representing yourself to us as at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom it is being shipped is at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before processing an order.

An adult signature with proof of age verification is required at time of delivery or, during pandemic conditions, a visible indication of acceptance by an adult. Please be aware that someone over the age of 21 must be available to sign for the package. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be left.
