Lower ABV “Picpoul” in Languedoc dialect means “lip stinger,” a reference to the bright acids that allow the most important white grape of the Sud to stay so refreshing despite plenty of summer heat. Any good Picpoul is crisp and fresh with lots of white orchard fruit flavor. This one adds a touch of creaminess to the texture and a hint of star fruit to the aromas and flavors. While it's still plenty mouthwatering on the brisk finish, the overall effect is a little luxurious and very satisfying. A great back deck sipper and lovely with anything from the sea.
