Morgon’s finest vineyard site and 60-70 year-old vines deliver an intense Beaujolais with the velvet feel of Morgon and some Moulin-a-Vent power and grip. As Vinous says in the 93 point review, "Asuperb nose with mineral-driven, very pure red fruit that conveys a sense of energy. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, very fresh and tensile, linear and poised to the extent that you almost don't discern the structure. Highly recommended."
For You If: You’re wondering why wine geeks get so excited about Beaujolais all the time; you’re a wine geek; you’re looking for a Beaujolais that will cellar for 5-10 years and turn more Burgundy-like as it does.
Not For You If: You’re looking for juicy, fruity, easy Bojo – this has firm minerality and tannins and noticeable non-fruit complexity.
