Lower ABV From one of Soave’s benchmark estate, this is Garganega for folks who love Chablis, Muscadet, Fiano and the like. Vinous describes it well in the 91 point review, "impresses with its fresh mix of vividly ripe orchard fruit. It’s airy and lifted with notes of minty herbs, sweet spices and white smoke. A burst of vibrant acidity invigorates the palate as salty minerals saturate. Crisp and clean, the Otto closes with a long, citrus-inflected finish." As Vinous said of the 2022, "I could drink this sultry Soave all day long."
For You If: You enjoy mintrally whites like Chablis, Muscadet and Fiano with just an extra touch of ripe pear/apple fruit; you're looking for a wine that goes from cockail hour to table with grace and ease - this pairs with just about any white-wine friendly fare.
Not For You If: You're in the mood for something shaped and spiced by oak - this is all steel, crisp and fresh; you're after the bold citrus flavors of something like Sauvignon Blanc - this is more focused on orchard fruit flavors.
