Lower ABV Monemvassia originated in Pelopannesia but today is cultivated only on the south Agean island of Paros where it gives round, mouth-filling, whites with pretty fruit and an easy finish.  Here it's all about Gala apple, apricot, melon and orange fruit with a creamy mouthfeel balanced by crisp acids and a dusting of salty minerality. A fun party sipper and match for a bucket of steamed shrimp!

For You If:  You're after something with the flavors of Verdejo or Falangihna but with a softer mouthfeel and fruitier vibe.

Not For You If:   You like your whited dry, dry, dry - this has lots of generous fruit and flows easily through a soft, relaxed, finish.
