Lower ABV Nestled in Oregon’s Costal Range, Airlie makes fine Pinot Noir and an exciting set of whites from less common grapes. And here they bang together seven of them to create a fruit-filled white with excellent volume and a juicy, mouthwatering, finish. As Wine Enthusiast says in the 90 point review, “Seven different varieties of grapes, predominantly Riesling, Pinot Gris and Grüner Veltliner, are used to make this refreshing off-dry white with a creamy texture. Apricot and white pepper flavors are joined by notes of mint and talc. Ripe peaches are tempered by a zesty tonic water and lime combination.”
For You If: You’re looking for a white with enough fruit to handle savory and sweet/spicy flavors like Thai or Indian food or even Thanksgiving dinner!
Not For You If: You’re after low fruit and bone dry – there’s a tiny touch of residual sugar here which amps up the flavors and cleans up beautifully on the zesty mineral finish.
