In 2009, four friends banded together to fight the world's impression that Chilean wine was all boring, industrial, green, and overripe. So "the madhouse" project came together to craft distinctively delicious wines from extreme terroirs, careful farming and minimal intervention winemaking. This is from a 10 acre vineyard on the Aconcagua Coast and made all in concrete. Lovely dark fruit a squirt of blood orange and a long, salty, finish make it easy to drink solo and stunning with game birds, meaty fish and more.

For You If:   You're after a Pinot that perfectly blends fruit, acid and fine tannins and really pops with varietal Pinot perfume.

Not For You If:  You're in the mood for Pinot with tons of body and grip - this is plenty of presence and structure, but rides very easily across your palate.
