Just a delightful, ready to love, Willamette Valley Pinot Noir from a blend of Estate and Van Duzer Vyd fruit. The dark raspberry and red cherry fruit are delicious and fun and buoyed by a lift of red berry acidity and fine, light, tannins. Hints of tea, spice and mint add complexity, but the real story here is the deeply satisfying fruit. A great value in handcrafted Willamette Valley Pinot.
Wine Enthusiast describes it perfectly in their 94 point, Editor’s Choice, review: “A bright red aromatic combination of raspberries and pie cherries is raised to perfume status by bursts of dried rose petals and a warm, lemon-scented dryer sheet. This free fall freshness continues on the palate, where a supernatural level of acidity powers the wine's blackcap raspberry, anise and chrysanthemum tea flavors. This juicy treat is one heck of a value.”
For You If: You’re looking for a great bottle of lighter Pinot Noir to enjoy with or without food tonight – this one’s a winner!
Not For You If: You’re after a lot of weight or flesh – this has plenty of flavor and certainly isn’t “thin” but does feel more light/fresh than dense.
