As always, extremely limited. As Vinous says in the 94 point review, it's "soft, seamless and exceptionally beautiful. White flowers, mint, chalk, lemon oil and marzipan are all finely sculpted. This is an especially taut, vibrant edition of Val Vilaine. All the elements are so well balanced. Readers will find a [Pinot Noir] of exceptional finesse. Bouchard's top bottlings will be very hard to find this year. The Val Vilaine will do just fine, however. Bottled with no dosage. Disgorged: June 2025."
For You If: You're looking for a peak at the famed Bouchard style - vinous, complex, bubbles as an afterthought to the quality of the wine - in a softer, ready to enjoy style.
Not For You If: You're looking for a bargain - Bouchard's wines are tiny in production (especially in this release) and hunted down by collectors around the world. The wine's great, but it's not cheap.
