This is terrific, with dark, plummy, fruit and mocha notes building through a firm, dry, finish. Ready to go with lamb or beef roast now and just getting better with air or time in cellar. High-impact Tempranillo that James Suckling describes well in the 93 point review, "A lovely brightness and juiciness to this with cherry, spice, and crushed stone. Some tar. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins that have a dusty undertone. Tannic and typical for Duero."

For You If:   You like dark wines with plenty of chewy tannins - perfect for rich lamb or beef!

Not For You If:   You're after "smooth" - this takes a firm grab on your palate that releases nicely after a few moments or right away when paired up with savory foods.
