If you like wines the natural wine folks call “glou glou” – think the sound you make when chugging something refreshing – then you’re going to love this. As you will if you just like really good rose for very little money. This is 100% Grenache with 24-48 hours of skin contact for color and then drained to old French and American oak casks to finish fermentation and rest a few weeks. It’s loaded with crunch berry fruit, feels round and big on your palate, and then finishes tangy, dry and gluggable. The flavors aren a little darker and deeper than most Provencal pinks, but still refreshing and all the way dry.
For You If: You love dry French rose and are looking for that kind of refresment with more crunchy red berry fruit and a tiny bit more body and concentration.
Not For You If: You're really committed to a very pale color rose - this has a bright watermelon heart color but is still 100% light, fresh, dry.
