Organic/Bio "Easygoing" the folks at JamesSuckling.com called this in the 90 point review, and that captures it nicely. It's full of ripe cherry/berry fruit with a hint of leather and a tart cranberry and fine tannin finish. The Suckling review says, "Raspberries, chocolate, hazelnuts and bark on the nose. Creamy, fresh and balanced, with a medium body and bright acidity." We'd add that it's uncommonly suave for Sangiovese (90% + 10% Merlot), the wine is all about the sweet/tart fruit and juicy, fresh, feel. Supple enough to take a chill and ripe and firm enough to sing with pizza, pasta, burgers and more. And a very nice value, too!
For You If: You're looking for an easy drinking, all-purpose, pizza, pasta and party red that will dress up a dinner table and chill down a bit to refresh on the back deck, too.
Not For You If: You're looking for lots of Sangiovese leather or complexity - this is pretty straight-ahead fruit-filled and delicious.
