Lower ABV This would be a very exciting $30 Soave – at this price, the value is pretty much off the charts. 100% Garganega done all in steel, the crisp apple and toasted almond aromas pull you in to an expressive palate of ripe pear, crunchy apple, white citrus and almond blossom flavors. There’s a lot of “action” on the palate – the wine really moves – and through the zesty, Granny Smith apple fresh finish. While you’d certainly enjoy this with seafood, Soave is one of the world’s most perfect food wines, so pull this out for chicken, roasted veggies or even just chips and dip.

For You If:  You’re after a definitely high-quality Italian white at a pretty crazy low price; you want a wine with the depth and complexity to satisfy a Chardonnay fan and the fresh, bright, fruit and juicy acids Old World drinkers crave.

Not For You If:   You’re looking for oaky flavors – this is all in steel – or something heavy – there’s plenty of weight here but just 12.5% alcohol.
