Organic/Bio All Jim Anderson does is make great Pinot Noir - especially in this wine that draws on some of the best vineyards of the Willamette Valley to make the winery's "entry-level" bottling. As Wine Advocate says in the 92 point review, "The 2024 Pinot Noir Reserve, which contains fruit from many of the single vineyards in the Patricia Green portfolio, is elegant and energetic. It boasts pure, detailed aromas of red cherry, blackberry, bergamot, anise and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate is detailed and spicy with silky tannins, vibrant acidity that lures you back to the glass and a long, nuanced finish."
For You If: You like Jim's take on Willamette Valley Pinot - dark, spiced and richly flavored without any excess weight or overt oak; you're looking for something to drink with duck or salmon - this will rock!
Not For You If: You're after something really light or really thick - this walks the mid-point of that span perfectly.
