Organic/Bio You can't get more Mediterranean influence than in a wine that comes from middle of the sea. This is from a small, rocky, vineyard on Paros, a quick boat ride from Santorini. Done all in steel, it delivers a punchy fennel and lemon zest punch on the nose and adds a dollop of lime juice on the fleshy palate that builds to a zippy, mouthwatering and lightly salty finish. For shellfish? Of course! And fun for solo refreshment, too.
For You If: You're in the mood for Santorini Assyrtiko style and quality but not so much the steep premium the more famous island demands.
Not For You If: You're looking for something really soft - this is nicely bracing - or super fruity - this has nice fruit, but it's more savory/salty than fruity.
