Organic/Bio Something to be said about concrete vats adding volume but maintaining freshness with this wine. A blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, this wine was aged in concrete and shows poise, freshness, without sacrificing any flavor. On the nose raspberry, plum, and subtle blueberries lead to an ample and fresh body that finishes long, joyous, and a bit spicy, think black pepper. We'd like to say this is like a Rhone but with an added fresh flare.
For You If: You enjoy Cote du Rhone and want to branch out with a touch more freshness but not too much so that you are missing the classic spice and fruit of a Rhone
