"Antech really do make textbook Blanquette. Mauzac brings apple blossom and the taste of a windfall apple picked up off wet just-mown grass and bit into without even brushing it off. It tastes of daisies in orchard grass and cobnuts that have sat wrinkling on the kitchen table. Chenin brings a lick of honey, Chardonnay wraps them all up in a soft white handkerchief. The bubbles are as soft as soap bubbles. The finish has a tiny bitter nip. Every check box firmly ticked. Summer brunch is just around the corner…"
