Organic/Bio Emilia Romagna Sangiovese delivers much of the black cherry, earth, leather and floral character you get in Tuscany but with a bit more freshness and open structure. Here it's done all in steel, bringing out the sweet red fruit that's framed in notes of cured tobacco and damp earth before turning more juicy and mouthwatering on the lightly chocolaty finish. A great all-purpose Italian red.

For You If:  You're in the mood for Sangiovese's energy, earth and ripe/tart cherry fruit without a lot of oak or tannin to get in the way of immediate enjoyment.

Not For You If:  You're looking more for "dirt" than "earth" - this is clean - or want the extra grip and spice that comes from long cask aging.
