Organic/Bio Suckling says in the 92 point review, “A serious, textured and delicious Chianti Classico. The nose expresses notes of spiced cherries, warm herbs and baking spices. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins. Juicy, with an attractive core of forest berries bringing energy and freshness on the mid-palate and in the flavorful finish.” We think the only thing “serious” about this wide-open, fruit-filled, Chianti is the enjoyment. There’s loads of that!
For You If: You enjoy the bold fruit flavors, spice and herbal complexity of Chianti Sangiovese and want it in an open, easy-to-drink, style to enjoy with or without food.
Not For You If: You’re looking for lots of structure or cellar potential – this is delicious right now with very invitingly soft tannins and plenty of luscious fruit.
