Organic/Bio Lower ABV A dense, rich, and dark Pinot Noir from 50 year-old certified organic vines in the north of the Cote d'Or. The old vine fruit gave wine with a lot of volume and structure in 2022 and 12 months in 20% new French oak added polish and spice. Black cherry and wild berry fruit is dusted with spice and bitter chocolate aromas and flavors. It's intense and very long on a firm, almost muscular, finish. Ready to unfold with air and built to handle a good steak, lamb or other substantial food. Already delicious, but you'll love what happens over the next 5-10 years!
For You If: You're looking for Pinot with excellent minerality and delineation that also has the guts to stand up to beef, lamb or any rich, meaty-feeling, dish.
Not For You If: You're in the mood for easy drinking, light, Pinot - this is serious red Burgundy that wants air and good food to shine.
