A beautiful Cabernet Franc that melds New World fruit with subtle varietal character of green herbs/tobacco and some juicy bite. Wine Enthusiast describes it well in their 93 point review: "I confess that the Rosa Mystica was my first American Cabernet Franc crush. After losing touch over the years, the 2021 vintage just rekindled the romance. These raspberry, forest floor and vanilla bean aromas are a love letter unto themselves. Then the dried cherry, cacao nib and cedarwood flavors kick in, escorted by grippy tannins."
For You If: You like plenty of plump fruit balanced by a sense of juicy lift and wild herb complexity; you're looking for a terrific cookout red to enjoy from lighting the grill through clearing up the leftovers.
Not For You If: You're after the snap and grab of Loire Valley Cab Franc - this is more plump, round and soft than that although still nicely structured for both sipping and food.
