Margerum's "Uber" Syrah - a co-ferment from all the best vineyards Doug works with acrosss the Central Coast. As each parcel of fruit arrives at the winery, approximately 10% of each pick and each clone is separated and added to the Uber fermenter. Vinous describes the powerful 2020 well in the 96 point rave, it's " fabulous. Possesses compelling inner sweetness and layers of flavor that build in the glass. Sumptuous and racy, with impeccable balance, the Über is a winner."

For You If:   You love the power and richness of Central Coast Syrah while stopping short of the over-ripe character of something like Barossa Shiraz; you're looking for something to drink now-2032 with grilled/roasted meats.

Not For You If:   You're after the leaner, more savory, style of Northern Rhone Syrah - this has plenty of savory accents but is full of California fruit and flesh.
