As Wine Spectator’s 92 point review of this release says, “A harmonious version, with a fine, raw silk–like texture, this is lightly mouthwatering and very appealing. Offers a fragrant overtone of apple blossoms, anise and ginger, with flavors of nectarine, blood orange granita and salted Marcona almond. Minerally finish.”
For You If: You’re looking for a rich, broad, but still dry Champagne that will delight a crowd and captivate more serious Champagne drinkers with ease; you like Pol Roger Brut – this is like that, but with a bit more detail and character.
Not For You If: You’re looking for austerity or ultra-low dosage – this is 6 g/l, still dry but also nicely rich.
