A collaboration between Master Sommelier Sara Floyd and the Pisoni Family, gives a nicely ripe and stylish Napa Cab that will shine at table. Plenty of concentration black cherry/berry fruit, and touches of clove, vanilla and smoke. A portion of the fruit is from the Vaca mountains, giving volume and grip to the flowing finish. There's a stony minerality here that adds an extra layer of interest to a very fine Napa Cab value.
For You If: You're after Napa Cab that certainly tastes good solo but is going to delight even more with grilled/roasted lamb, beef, root veg, etc.
Not For You If: You're looking for something fat/thick - solid body here but with a bit of restraint.
