Owen Roe's collaboration with longtime growers across the Columbia Valley turns out a charmingly gutsy Cabernet Sauvignon value. It's dark and brambly with generous blackberry fruit, a dollop of dark chocolate and dusty herbal notes on top. A 5% dose of Merlot gives roundness to go with 2020 Cab's natural volume and size. A rock solid glass of Cab.

For You If:  You're looking for classic West Coast Cabernet Sauvignon texture and flavors at considerably less than Napa Valley prices.

Not For You If:  You want something light or finessed - this is hardly heavy, but it's nicely direct and rich.
