If you love California Cab’s rich blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, dash of chocolate, sweet spice, full body and fine and firm tannins that are ready to party with a steak, then you’ll definitely enjoy drinking this. The value comes from sourcing the grapes from two regions better known for supplying blending Cab to Napa wineries. About 40% is from warm, inland, sites in Monterey County and 60% is from Lake County, just a bit north of Napa. The quality portion of the deal is about careful farming plus straight-ahead winemaking including 10 months in barrel for spice and complexity. The best value in California Cab in the shop!
