"Sebastian" here is the winemaker who has an "infinite" number of possibilities in blending Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot from Doug Rafanelli’s Cabernet blocks in the western hills of Dry Creek Valley and elsewhere to create this gem.  It's dark and rich with super-ripe blackberry and cherry fruit framed by a nice layer of oak (30% new) spice and mocha. Finishes dusty and mouthwatering - just what's needed to handle a steak. This just gets more interesting the longer you drink it and is outstanding value, too.

For You If:  You enjoy the dusty tannins and dusky flavors of Sonoma County Cabernet; you're doing beef with ancho or chipotle or coffee (or all three together) rub - this will play with those flavors nicely.
