Organic/Bio A lot of work goes into making this delicious Champagne! The white wine base is 55% Pinot Noir, 5% Meunier and 25% Chardonnay, all blended with 15% red Pinot Noir. The base is vintage 2018 with some barrel agd Chardonnay from 2017 and 22% coming from a perpetual reserve started in 2008. And it all comes together after 5+ years on the lees and 5 g/l dosage. Lovely raspberry, redcurrant and pomegranate aromas and flavors with a nice lift of citrus and accent of toasty biscuit and violets. Substantial, but easy to drink with or without food.
For You If: You're after a delicious all-purpose Champagne rose, one that has the breadth and generousity to work well with even rich food at table and the freshness and lightness to delight sipped solo, too.
Not For You If: You're looking for rose Champagne that drinks like red wine or one that is as light as Provencal pink - this rides in between those extremes.
