Organic/Bio Lower ABV Burgundy's Marquis d'Angerville crafts this delicious Jura red from Pinot Noir (60%), Trousseau (35%) and Poulsard (5%) - "Trois Cepages". All destemmed and aged in Burgundy barrels and foudre, it's bursting with ripe strawberry fruit and a delicate perfume of violets, hydrangeas, white pepper and more. The velvet mouthfeel, brisk acidity and long finish make this irressistable now, although it will certainly age with grace.
For You If: You love wines with dark, rich, strawberry fruit and a lot of perfume - this is one of those wines you spend so much time smelling you'd almost forget to drink it; you're looking for a fresh and rich match for roasted foods.
Not For You If: You're looking for Rhone levels of body and power - this is a Burgundian take on the red grapes of Jura.
