Organic/Bio Lower ABV Decant this or, better still, wait a couple of years. As the 93 point Vinous review suggests, it has so much to offer! "The 2023 Moulin-à-Vent Les Thorins comes from granite soils and tends to be more backward than Rottier's other cuvées. This spends a shorter six months in wood and then finishes its maturation in concrete. It has a pure bouquet with red plum, cranberry, strawberry pastille and light orange pith scents. The palate is well balanced, elegant and caressing, with pliant tannins, gentle grip and a beautiful, sapid, silky finish. The 2023 is wonderful."
For You If: You love great Moulin-a-Vent and have a bit of paitience - at least willing to wait an hour in decanter so this can open up and completely blow you away.
Not For You If: You're looking for easy-drinking, fruity, Bojo - this is intense and powerful and wants food and time.
