Lower ABV Muscadet is bone dry, super crisp, lightly yeasty/salty white wine that was born to drink with oysters and shellfish - or with roast chicken, sharp cheeses or all by itself if you enjoy wines full of crisp green fruit and lots of minerality (we do!). This is a fine exapmle, direct and fresh with crunchy green melon and Key lime fruit, a sense of chalkiness mid-palate and thrning salty and mouthwatering on the fresh finish. Good all purpose white and fine value, too.
For You If: You splurged on the oyster, clams or mussels and now need a high-quality, sharply-priced, white wine to help make them shine; you enjoy wines with nice texture and not too much fruit at lowish alcohol levels.
Not For You If: You're in the mood for fruity, full-bodied or oaky - this is the opposite of that!
