Very limited from one of Burgundy's masters. In the 90-92 point review, Wine Advocate says this is "beautifully perfumed, soaring from the glass with scents of orange zest, raspberries and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and sensual palate. Readers might wish to think of it as an amalgam of the aromas and finesse of the 2021 and the flesh and texture of 2022." And Vinous in he matching 90-92 point write-up loves "the pleasant pepperiness on the nose" from 50% whole cluster. And adds, "The palate is fleshy and medium-bodied with a licorice-tinged entry and good density on the finish. This is utterly delicious." Drink from 2026-2038.
For You If: You're looking for a fine and classic Chambolle-Musigny from one of the most important vigneron of the Cote d'Or and have a little patience.
Not For You If: You're after Pinot to pop for Thanksgiving - this is complex red Burgundy that needs time and warrants attention.
