Made by Dolin from a recipe created by Jean-Pierre Comoz, the second-oldest vermouth house and probably the first to make clear vermouth. A touch richer than Dolin Dry but noticeably less sweet than most “Blanc” examples, it was the only vermouth available in Cuba in the early 20th Century and, thus, the authentic base for the El Presidente cocktail. Noticeable wormwood and cherry flavors make this an excellent spritz base with sliced, ripe, berries.
