Lower ABV There is NOTHING sexy about the winery, terroir, winemaking or family behind this 70/30 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillion from the flat vineyards of southern Bordeaux. Fortunately, what’s in your glass plus a great value price are more than enough to win you over! Plump citrus and stone fruit flavors, a whiff of cut grass, some freshening lemon/lime zest, and a clean, dry, mouthwatering finish are enough. A fun, easy, cocktail, salad and casual seafood dish wine.
For You If: You enjoy the citrusy freshness and bite of Sauvignon Blanc and want that with just a little more calm and less overt grapefruit/topical fruit character.
Not For You If: You’re looking for oak-aged white Bordeaux – all steel here – or the aggressive boxwood/herbal character we often call “cat pee” – hey, we’re not ones to yuck your yum, but you won’t find it here.
