It's hard to make Garnacha Blanca with verve, freshness and minerality, but Anna Espelt does just that here with 20% Garnacha Gris and vines near the Catalonian coast. Subtle stone fruit and citrus notes are cloaked in notes of rosemary, thyme and juniper and propelled by a deep salty-seashell minerality. Long, pure, lovely and a great match with grilled Tiger Prawn with olive oil or fresh fish and garlic butter.

For You If:   You're after the kind of minerality and saltiness you find in great Albarino or Chablis with a distinctive Mediterranean garrigue note.

Not For You If:   You're after lots of fruit - the fruit is lovely here, but subtle and plays a supporting role.
