From the makers of Cappelletti, this is a true taste of The Dolomites.  The main bittering agent and flavoring is Mugo Pine, found growing on rocky upland mountain slopes. The buds and cones are harvested in Spring and allowed to dry before being used to flavor a neutral base wine along with other local roots and herbs. In Trentino, it's traditionally drunk neat and at room temperature, but it makes a fabulous addition to tonic, soda, sparkling lemonade and bitter lemon.
