Organic/Bio Lower ABV When Marc de Grazia began purchasing old vineyards on Mt Etna, he quickly discovered that old-school farmers always includes about 3-7% white grapes in the field. In 2005, he picked all the white grapes before the reds and made this wine - and it turned out to be terrific! Today it's those grapes plus younger vines from sites he's planted to white wine himself. Vinous describes the ultra-fresh, light, 2024 well: "A whiff of lemon oil mixes with sweet mint and crushed rocks as the 2024 Etna Bianco opens in the glass. This is juicy and playful in feel with ripe melon and a cascade of inner florals that swirl throughout. It leaves a salty sensation and nuances of candied citrus on the wickedly fresh finish."
For You If: You like mouthwatering whites with volcanic minerality; you enjoy the salty stone finish of wines like Chablis or Albarino and want that with more citrus.
