Super rare in every way, from the unique delivery of pure Viognier character with a jolt of minerality and freshness to the 61 case total production. Sashi Moorman puts most of his Northern Rhone passion into his Syrahs, but here he takes a little side trip to Condrieu. Classic white fruit and floral aromas and flavors here with a remarkably steely palate and almost crisp feel on the long finish. Delicious!

For You If:   You enjoy the stone fruit and white flower notes of Viognier and want one that is redolent of that, but also bright, crisp and refreshing; you're about to dig into a plate of spice, highly aromatic, Asian food - this is going to sing with that!

Not For You If:  You're looking for Condrieu's sharp minerality - this is more rounded - or the dense, almost oily, texture most New World Viognier gives - this is kind of steely and very fresh.
