Organic/Bio Yes, it tastes like really good, expensive, vintage Champagne and sells for a remarkably good price – but there’s so much more going on here! From the Seyssel village in Savoie, it blends two mountain grapes – 25% Altesse and 75% Molette – from 20-50 year-old vines. There’s a generous frothy joy here with flavors like a toasted and buttered baguette with a schmear of quince jelly and lemon/lime peel sprinkle. Dry, refreshing, delightful.
For You If: You just like drinking good bubbles because good bubbles make any day a good day; you want a touch of Champagne complexity and toast in a friendlier, frothier, format.
