Cabernet dominates Napa Valley vineyards, but given room, it's white Bordeaux stablemate makes great wine, too. Here it's given the full white Bordeaux treatment, adding a layer of spice and stoniness to the sunny-ripe Napa fruit. As Suckling says in the 93 point review, "Bright, minerally and citrus-driven, with aromas of lemons, citrus blossoms, crushed stones and minerals. The palate is mid-weighted, textural and rounded, with fine acidity. Made from 100% sauvignon blanc and fermented in 35% new French oak." Stylish and delicious.
