Lower ABV Jean-Pierre Vacher, his son Jerome and daughter-in-law, Karine, are making classic, focused, Sancerre that hold on to Sancerre's freshness, especially in cloudy years like 2024. Done all in steel, this delivers fresh white citrus and stone fruit aromas and flavors with a dusting of limestone powder minerality and bite of lime pitch on the dry, crisp, finish. Easy to drink all by itself and better still with aged goat cheeses and seafood. Outstanding value.
For You If: You like old-school Sancerre, wines of lightness and freshness and citrus/chalk bite and no sign of tropical fruit ripeness.
Not For You If: You're looking for something dense or heavy - this is nicely light and vibrant.
