A soft and easy Columbia Valley Cabernet from more structured Red Mountain (60%) and more fruit-forward Wakluke Slope fruit with 10 months in 25% new French oak. Cassis, blueberry and black cherry fruit gets a bit of complexity from notes of wood smoke and savory dried herbs. A hint of spiced chocolate comes up on the chalky, but not at all hard, finish. Fine solo and burger Cabernet.
For You If: You enjoy the flavors of New World Cabernet Sauvignon in an easygoing, ready to enjoy now, package.
Not For You If: Goofy wine labels are a turn-off – this one’s kind of silly, but the wine is good!
