Organic/Bio As Robert Parker said, “If you haven't discovered it, Mordorée continues to make some of the finest dry Rosés available anywhere in the world.” The magic starts with 40 year-old plantings of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Mourvedre - the black grapes for color - and 5% each of Clairette and Bourboulenc - the white grapes for vivacity and freshness. After harvest, the grapes are crushed and allowed to soak in their juice for 3-4 days to extract flavor and aroma and also a rich, dark, salmon color. Full of red berry, cherry and orange zest fruit with a hint of earthiness and juicy acids on the mouthwatering finish. Powerful, but with finesse. Delicious all summer long and the answer to the age-old question of what to serve at Thanksgiving this year or for 2 or 3 years to come!
