Organic/Bio From deep Southern Italy comes this delicious, gutsy, but still nicely fresh take on Primitivo, the Italian cousin to Zinfandel. There’s plenty of dark black plum and blackberry preserve fruit at the core with tart cherry acidity for freshness and a dusting of cocoa powder grip for structure and length. The supple berry fruit keeps on pumping through from beginning to end. A fine grilling red.
For You If: You’re looking for Italian red versatility with more direct and ripe fruit; you’re in the mood for a wine with a lot of fruit that stays fresh/not heavy and easy to drink.
Not For You If: You’re after a lot of acidity, grip or oak – this is creamy/supple in feel and done all in steel.
