Organic/Bio In the foothills of Mount Ventoux, the Jaume family crafts this delicious southern Rhone blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah, all done in steel. Nicely mouthfilling in texture with bold black raspberry and blackberry fruit all supported by fine tannins that keep your mouth feeling refreshed and ready for more. As Jeb Dunnuck said of a previous release, “This is a gorgeous style of wine; fruit-driven and food-friendly – pizza, pasta, burgers, mild cheeses.”
For You If: You’re a fan of Cotes du Rhone reds – which is basically what this is – and/or California Rhone Ranger blends or even the rich reds of southern Spain – basically, wines that feel big without being heavy and shine based on place and fruit vs oak.
Not For You If: You’re looking for noticeable oaky spice and sheen – this is done all in tank for maximum freshness and honest, rich, flavors.
