Normally this needs a lot of patience, but the 2019 is nicely open and delicious already. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 24 months in French oak (75% new). 793 cases made.
"Red Mountain minerality is all over this beautifully intense Cabernet from the team at Corliss Estate—brilliant mineral tones of graphite tip off the aromatics of this wine as Cabernet Sauvignon. The refinement continues with pine bough notes, rose petals and smoky red berry fruits all leaping from the glass. Gorgeously integrated tannins frame cherries, and a core of dark chocolate with wild mint, streaks of graphite and crushed dried sage carry the finish." Decanter 97 points
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is all varietal and comes from the Red Mountain AVA. This vivid purple beauty boasts a killer bouquet of cassis, spring flowers, graphite, and earth. More vibrant, fresh, and lively than previous vintages, it still has terrific concentration, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish. It's one of the finest vintages of this cuvée that I can remember. It's brilliant today yet should evolve for 20 years or more." Jeb Dunnuck 98 points
