Lower ABV Frankly, this is just better than most any Moscato d'Asti you've ever tried. It's from 40-50 year-old vines on limestone which gives an extra dose of concentration and minerality to the super-ripe apricot and nectarine fruit. It fizzes, yes with bubbles but also with energy and verve as the sweet fruit flavors pick up a crunch of spicy ginger and white flower perfume right on through a grippy, mouthwatering, finish. Too much fun to stop drinking - which is ok since it's just 5.0% alcohol.
For You If: You're looking for a great pairing to go with an apricot, peach or pineapple dessert; you're in the mood for super-delicious bubbles at breakfast/brunch; it's a lazy, warm, afternoon and you want to celebrate without needing a nap.
Not For You If: You're 100%, absolutely, without question or any interest in learning otherwise, opposed to sugar in wine - even if the wine is more spicy than sweet and is guaranteed to make your eyebrows go up and face break into a smile the first time you taste it.
