This Gredos "village" Garnacha has always been a benchmark, and is better than ever from a new, apparently brett-free, winery building. The combination of fruit intensity and silky feel is addictive. As Wine Advocate writes in the 94 point review, "has more fruit and is rounder and juicier than the 2023, but it still delivers very pretty aromas of violets and wild herbs. It has a fine-boned mouthfeel with chalky tannins. It comes in at 14% alcohol, with good freshness and balance."
For You If: You love the big red fruit of Garnacha and Grenache-based Cotes du Rhone with more freshness, lift, and floral complexity; you're looking for a bold red that will pair with any kind of spicy, flavorful, savory food - this is really flexible!
