Lower ABV Bordeaux Blanc in all but name – a quirk in the French wine laws – but in a Pouilly Fume/Sancerre style. It’s all Sauvignon Blanc with big lemon pulp fruit and a mouthwatering pepper spice. Winemaker Michel Aroldi was friends with Didier Dagueneau and uses some skin contact to get that kind of texture here. Finishes bracing with mouthwatering lemon and wild herb. A great wine for shellfish and cheese or any dish with an herby feel to it.
For You If: You love great Pouilly Fume and Sancerre and want that kind of citrus/mineral feel with just a touch more wild herb.
